The Swinley Female Enduro team have announced the re-scheduled date for their 2018 women’s only enduro.
The race will take place on the 8th and 9th September 2018 at Swinley Forest.
The event was due to take place in March 2018 but wintry weather forced the organisers to cancel at the last minute. An immediate reschedule wasn’t possible thanks to nesting birds in the woods at Swinley and the event was pushed back to September.
The Swinley Female Enduro is a women’s only event, to be held at Swinley Forest for the first time. It promises a 20km track, demos from Fox Head, a BBQ and Prosecco bar and a women’s coaching prior to the event.
There will also be a “Lil’ Shredders” Championships, a 5km, 3 stage only enduro style event for riders up to the age of 12″.
The Fox Head Female Swinduro will have the following categories:

- PRO age 18+
- Senior age 18-29
- Master age 30-39
- Veteran age 40+
- Supers Veteran age 50+
- FUN age 18+ (Sport / Fun Category for new comers and those that prefer not to race in age category)
- U18s age 12-17 (12-14 to be accompanied by an adult)
- “Mini Shredders Enduro” U12’s (3 stages only – 5km in length – to be accompanied by an adult)
