Trillion’s New Shug Hardtail Spotted in The Wild at Fort William.

Last week we were teased with Trillion’s new hardtail, the Shug, and here we are in Fort William for the World Cup with the bike on show.

Designed by Liberty and build by the guys at Shand in Scotland, the Shug is the second quiver in the Trillion bow. The Trillion team had the new whip on their stand here at Nevis Range.

Designed around a 130mm fork, and will take up to 27.5 x 3.0″ or 29 x 2.6″. The frame is Reyolds 853 steel with Dedacciai seat and chainstays.

65 degree head angle, 74 degree seat angle, 130m Cane Creek Helm fork, the Shug is Trillion’s answer to a slightly less full-on offering than the Prime.
Reynolds 853 makes up the front triangle, all hand-built in Scotland by Shand.
10 to the power of 12 = ? One Trillion.
Dedacciai seat and chainstays meet Reynolds 853 top, down and seat tube beautifully.
Room for up to a 27.5 x 3.0″ or a 29 x 2.6″ tyre out back.
148 x 12mm Boost keeps things tight and stiff out the back, with a nice protective cone for the axle head.
Simple yet effective drive side dropout with a neat replaceable mech hanger.

Full details on the Shug can be found over on Trillion’s website.

Stay tuned for more from the Fort William World Cup all weekend here.
