While the World’s best were tackling Aonach Mor, the Dudes of Hazzard held their annual Spirit of Dual World Champs under the watchful eye of the Ben.

Certainly a more inclusive event, this year’s Dudes of Hazzard Spirit of Dual World Champs braved the midgies and the rain to see some cracking racing across the board.

Simple racing. Two names get picked from the list. One person advances.
Dual is the best way to put mates head-to-head. The Dudes slalom was no different.
Not only do the Dudes put on a cracking low-key race, they can’t half sling a bike around when the racing kicks off.
Liam Moynihan may now be a Dad, but that’s not slowed him down one iota on track. Pinned.
As above. Full focus face.
Speaking of full focus face, the Top Chief pulling so much G-force his face started looking funny.
The two Dudes on track giving it some serious beans. It’s all fun and games until the racing starts.
Liam dropping a shoulder into the buff, dusty ruts.
Joe and Ferg taking it to the wire as the boys from the previous round look on.
More maximum attack from Mr. Moynihan.
Joe and Ferg on moto #2, still just as pinned. Nothing between the two of these cats.
Before the deluge, you could tell there hadn’t been an awful lot of rain about in Scotland recently.
Joe on track again, his time against that man Liam.
Did we mention that these boys are flat out?
Jay and Jamie watch on as the live stream rolls out as Joeman takes tips from Fergybabes.
It wasn’t just the locals that turned up… Greg Callaghan rocked up and set about pushing the Dudes hard.
Despite focusing on racing downhill this weekend, Kelan Grant rocked up to bolster the Irish presence and up the ante.
Callaghan was flat out early on and kept looking like he might unstick some of the Dudes in the process.
Ferg takes the direct route, while Kelan keeps it wheels-to-dirt in a very close heat.
The sun finally showed its face but did nothing for the midgies. Everyone battled through though for some good times.
The international language of bicycles beat the midgies and the rain today.

Stay tuned for more from the Fort William World Cup all weekend here.
