The Identiti Dr Jekyll is back …and it might be your next N+1 bike

20 years after the original was launched, the Identiti Dr Jekyll is back.

Built for street, pump tracks, dirt jumps and 4X the Dr Jekyll might well fill that gap in your garage you never knew you had!

British born Identiti bikes first created the Dr Jekyll back in 1998, the golden age of hardtails and dirt jumping. We were all wearing baggy jeans, had chains on our wallets and knew that we’d ride street, dirt jumps and trials FOR LIFE. Thankfully, things have moved on a bit…

  • 1 Size
  • 2 Colours; Satin Olive or Gloss Orange
  • 26 x 2.3 Max tyre
  • Custom designed ADS sliding drop out with built in hidden tensioner for use single speed and chainstay adjustment
  • 135 x 10mm Drop outs
The original Dr Jekyll – the bike of choice in 1998

The 1998 Dr Jekyll had 24″ wheels, a big old alloy frame and some big and beefy bits to stop it exploding on those stair gaps round the back of Tesco.

The new bike takes everything Identiti have learned since that first bike and combines it with everything else they’ve built in their range, not least their recent 4X bike the Krisis SL.

The new bike not only looks a lot slicker but has some nice design touches to bring it up to date. The alloy frame features an adjustable drop out system that means it can be run with gears or single speed. The system also allows mounts the brake caliper to the drop out, meaning it’s always in the right place regardless of wheel size.

The frame also has ISCG05 tabs, a thready BB, is designed for tapered forks and comes in two colours.
