Canyon Adds CF and ON Models to Its Neuron Range.

Based around their popular 130mm suspension platform, Canyon have added carbon and e-bike models to the existing Neuron range.

With the aluminium models being launched earlier in the year, it’s now time for us to take a look at the carbon fibre and e-bike models in Canyon’s Neuron range.

Expect a closer and more in-depth look at the new bikes from Jamie later in the week from the official UK launch.

Neuron CF.

It was only a matter of time before Canyon added carbon models to the Neuron range and the CF adds five gents’ and two ladies’to the range.

The CF 8.0 starts at 2699.99 Euro and sports a Fox Rythm fork and Float DPS shock, SRAM GX Eagle groupset and DT Swiss M1900 wheels, finished off with Canyon’s own finishing kit.

The top of the range CF 9.0 Unlimited.

At the top of the pile is the CF 9.0 Unlimited decked to the rafters with a Fox Factory 34 and Float DPS Factory, Shimano XTR throughout, DT Swiss XMC1200 wheels and a Fox Transfer dropper, all for 5599.99 Euro.

In the geometry stakes, you get different wheels for different sizes. The XS and S sporting 27.5″ wheels and the M upwards 29″. Reach on the medium is 433, with that jumping to over 450 on the large. With a 130mm fork, you will get a 67.5 degree head angle.

NeurON.

The Neuron:ON is designed for those massive days out on the bike and is adapted from the aluminium chassis of the Neuron. A smaller range including three gents’ and two ladies’ models.

Canyon have made the damping more linear for those longer rides to add more comfort, you have USB ports on the bike and 2.6″ tyres.

The base model NeuronON 5.0.

Geometry is near as makes no difference the same as the Neuron CF, unsurprisingly. XS and S still get smaller wheels than the M and upwards, with a 67.5 degree head angle and a 435 reach on the medium.

The range starts with the 5.0 at 3299.99 Euro. A Rockshox Recon RL and a Deluxe R shock handle the damping, a mix of Shimano XT and MT500 drive with the Steps motor.

The 7.0 tops the range with a Fox 34 Float Performance and Float DPS dampers, XT 11-speed throughout and a Fox Transfer dropper for 4299.99.

You get your hands on a Canyon Neuron in all it’s guises over on the Canyon website.

Keep an eye out for a First Ride of the new Neuron here soon.
