Nukeproof announce two new elite racers

Nukeproof’s mysterious new team rider has finally been revealed and it’s not one, but two new elite racers.

For the last few weeks, Nukeproof have been teasing us with hints of a new racer on their books.

The lid is lift and it looks like it’s not one but two… and they are Mr Gas to Flat himself Adam Brayton and flat-out-female Meg Whyte.

Adam will continue to race for the Hope Factory team with Hope, Ohlins and Maxxis kit. Alongside Sam Hill, he’ll help to develop the new Nukeproof downhill bike ready for a 2019 launch.

Nukeproof admit that “despite the success of the team we did miss a full-time presence in the Downhill World Cup”. Adam is going to help them get their bike race ready and keep a toe in the World Cup waters.

Adam will continue to ride the Hope SB160 enduro bike alongside the still-to-be-released Nukeproof downhill bike.

Meg Whyte also joins the Nukeproof roster. She’s a fast, talented UK downhill and enduro racer with some great results. She’ll be racing Nukeproof’s downhill and enduro bikes in the UK and overseas.
