We’re bidding a fond farewell to Team Wideopenmag’s Chris Cumming as he moves on to pastures new.
Chris Cumming has been part of the Team Wideopenmag race team family for the last two years. He joined us through an introduction from Nukeproof in 2017 and raced two full years of downhill with some awesome results.
During his time on the team, Chris was fastest young gun at the Red Bull Fox Hunt, he podiumed at the British National Downhill Series and came 2nd overall, he placed 2nd at the Megavalanche, took the Irish National DH Champs title and placed 3rd at the Crankworx DH in Innsbruck.
All in all, it was a pretty bloody good couple of years!
For 2019, Chris is moving on to pastures new and stepping up to his first junior year. We can’t say exactly where he’s going yet (his new team aren’t quite ready to lift the lid just yet) but we do know he’s found himself a great team and will be racing World Cups with some great support.
