Tahnee Seagrave Injury Update

It’s Fort William World Cup weekend and amongst others, Tahnee Seagrave is now on the injury bench.

Tahnee has just announced the outcome of her crash, the damage and what she’ll do next.

Tahnee crashed during practice on Friday and had to be winched off the track from the gondola and taken to hospital. It was rumoured that she had broken her collar and wouldn’t race.

The ‘won’t race’ rumours turned up to be true, but the collar bone injury didn’t.

Tahnee has just updated her Instagram to tell fans that she has now had an MRI. It turns out that she has ruptured ligaments around her collarbone and has a grade 2 AC joint tear. She says that the injury is more complicated than she’d initially thought and that it’s likely she’ll have to have surgery.

She hasn’t said for either way but chances are she won’t be in the start gate for Leogang in a week’s time for round 3 of the Downhill World Cup.
