Sheffield steel merchants Cotic have launched the latest incarnation of the original Longshot geometry frame, the Cotic BFe.
With longer reach across the range, slacker seat and steeper seat tube angles, subtle tweaks including a Boost 148 rear and designed around a 35mm stem brings the Cotic BFe up to date.

The BFe, Burly Iron, was the first Cotic frame to get the Longshot treatment and with the evolution of Cotic’s Droplink bikes, there’s been plenty learned by the boys in Sheffield as to how best to keep the bikes ahead of the pack.
Head tube angle drops to 65 degrees, optimised around a 140mm fork, but taking anything from 100mm to 160mm without riding like a dog. Reach on the medium, designed around a 35mm stem is 463mm. The seat post has been steepened and is a custom Cotic 35mm unit, sitting at 75 degrees.
Four build options as well as a frame-only are available. Two Gold options at £2,499.99 give options on build kit, as well as a Silver at £1,799.99. Custom options are, as ever, available.
