Pivot Factory Racing’s Bernard Kerr made history yesterday becoming the first rider two win two Red Bull Hardline events.
As so often with Red Bull Hardline, 29 confirmed riders fell to 19 for qualifying, with that number dropping to 14 for finals yesterday.
Bernard Kerr would be the one to pilot his Pivot Phoenix down the hillside in Dinas Mawddwy the fastest, seeing off a charging Gee Atherton and Joe Smith to take the win, and with it, become the first rider to win the event twice.
Joe Smith was 1st at the top split and 2nd at the next two before puncturing before the finish. What could have been?
