Recent news that fire destroyed the start hut at Windhill Bike Park was devastating but a GoFundMe page has been started to help rebuild it.
Every cloud has a silver lining and in the wake of the news that Windhill Bike Park had been the victim of a suspected arson attack.
More than just a start hut where everyone’s ride at Windhill started, the shed housed the tools used to keep the park in tip top shape. Now, a GoFundMe page aims to help replace that hut. Within three days, they are already over four thousand pounds into their twenty thousand pound target.
Any additional funds over the target will be donated to the local air ambulance.
