The new 2020 Marin Rift Zone Carbon sports two higher-spec models, a carbon front triangle, 29 inch wheels and 125mm travel.
There is no real surprise to find that the 2020 Marin Rift Zone Carbon is a range extension for the current all alloy-framed 2020 Rift Zone range and pushes the top end into the higher specs, and therefore, higher performance.
Key features:
- High modulus carbon fibre monocoque front triangle
- Enhanced Series 4 aluminum swing arm
- Integrated rubber downtube protector
- Seat tube supports long dropper posts
- 130mm fork travel
- 125mm rear wheel travel
- 29″ wheels

Touted as Marin’s trail 29er, the Rift Zone comes in with a 65.5° headtube angle on a 130mm fork, 76° seat tube angle, 425mm chainstays, and 480mm reach (size L). Not the most ludicrous or the most conservative, but numbers that should see the Rift Zone Carbon putting in a solid showing wherever you might take it.
