2020 Ragley Bikes Range | Everything You Need to Know.

Ragley Bikes have launched an updated range their no-fuss, do it all hardtail range with an updated gravel machine as the cherry on top.

Running with the them ‘if it ain’t broke then don’t fix it’, the Ragley Bikes 2020 range has seen subtle tweaks to improve on the outstanding recipe that saw the range receiving high praise for their outgoing models.

All bikes now roll on Maxxis’ EXO+ tubeless-ready rubber, will come with valves and tape supplied, while XL sizes enjoy a 170mm dropper. The Trig gravel bikes gains a carbon fork and there are two new top-end complete bikes in the form of the Big Wig and Blue Pig ‘Race’ bikes.

Frame-only options are available for all models.

Big Wig

The Big Wig is big-wheel bruiser of the Ragley range. 65.5 degree head angle with a 140mm fork on the standard model will be slacker with the 160mm Lyrik. 72 degree head angle keeps the weight over the front and the size medium has a healthy 440mm reach 420mm seat tube.

The ‘Race’ model takes the spec up and the weight down, giving Ragley fans who don’t want a custom build, the option to get some better performing kit.

Key features:

  • 29″ wheels
  • Rockshox Revelation 140mm 51mm Offset Boost fork
  • Sun Ringle Duroc 35 Comp Boost wheelset
  • SRAM NX Eagle 12sp drive
  • SRAM Guide T brakes
  • Brand X Ascend dropper
  • £1,799.99 RRP

Blue Pig

One of the Ragley originals, the Blue Pig is still a riot wherever you take it. Take the same reach and seat tube length from the Big Wig but rake the head tube angle out to a DH-worthy 63.5 degrees, with a suitably steep 74 degree seat angle.

Again, the ‘Race’ model drops weight but ups the price and spec at the same time.

Piglet

Another of the original Ragley offering, the Piglet is a better all-rounder than it’s bigger brother but gets a wider range cassette this year courtesy of a SRAM NS 12-speed drive, meaning it will go further but the 2.6″ Minions will see you off the back of the hill in style.

Reach on the medium is 435mm with a 420mm seat tube, sporting a 65.5 degree head angle and a 73 degree seat tube angle.
