Hope Launch eBike Specific Upgrade Cranks.

Hope have released cranks to add to their direct mount chainrings and Fortus wheelsets specifically for upgrading your ebike components.

Direct mount chainrings, Fortus wheels, V4 brakes and new ebike specific pads are all in the current crop of Hope components specifically for ebikes, but now they’ve added cranks based on their existing models but tweaked for more weight and torque.

Key features:

  • 165mm length
  • Forged and CNC machined 7150 series alloy
  • Optimised Q-factor for compatibility
  • Options compatible with Specialized, Brose/Yamaha, Bosch
    and Shimano Steps systems
  • Self extracting system
  • Available in black, blue, red, silver, purple and orange
  • £175 RRP
  • HopeTech.com

Rather than just drill the pedal hole higher up the crank to better resist the power output of an ebike, Hope have taken their existing alloy crank and tweaked it to make what they feel is a much better crank.

Sam Hill Nukeproof Enduro Pedaltea

Shorter at 165mm than most cranks, and made from a stiffer alloy with the reverse side heavily machined to further improve stiffness.

Offset increases to allow greater compatibility with most motors on the market, including Specialized, Brose/Yamaha, Bosch and Shimano Steps systems.

Expect the usual quantity of colour options to help you match up with the rest of your Hope components.
