Nukeproof Release the Sam Hill Signature Enduro Pedal.

After three years of proving that flat pedals do indeed win medals, Nukeproof have launched the Sam Hill Signature Enduro pedal.

Unsurprisingly an adaptation of the award winning Horizon flat pedal, the Sam Hill Signature Enduro Pedal builds on the Horizon’s design as a downhill flat pedal and tweaks it for the demands of enduro racing.

Key features:

  • 111mm x 99mm size
  • 6061-T6 alloy body
  • 6 height adjustable pins
  • 4 grub pins
  • DU bushes and sealed bearings
  • CroMo or Ti axle options
  • 407g per pair (CroMo axle)
  • £85 RRP CroMo axle, £160 RRP Ti axle

What started with a Horizon Pro pedal that was carefully trimmed down by Sam Hill’s mechanic Jacy to give more clearance from pedal strikes and while maintaining a supportive platform, eventually ended up with what would become the Sam Hill Signature Enduro pedal.

Any Nukeproof Horizon fans will recognise the construction and layout of the new signature pedals, and the internals are carried over, making the new models fully serviceable when they do decide they’ve had enough of the elements.

Sam raced numerous iterations of the new pedal at the Enduro World Series before settling on a pedal that would become the production model. With no updates to the ever popular Horizon pedals, and Sam wanting the tweaked platform, that is why the signature model was launched.

Two years later, a redesigned pedal body emerged that would become the signature model, while still retaining the grip and feel of the Horizon Pro, but sporting a 46g weight saving over the pair of pedals.
