Bikepark Wales has reopened for pedal up and there’s been plenty of work done to make new trails and revamp the existing ones.
If you’re heading to Bikepark Wales then take a look below to see what changes you can expect to see when you get your wheels to dirt.
Here at the park we are super excited to say that we are back up and running, all systems go.
As we all know the last few months have seen a whole host of emotions. It hasn’t been easy here at the park but we’ve kept our glass half full and have used this down time to make some amazing trail upgrades ready for you all to enjoy.
Top of the list is our brand new 5km long green trail Kermit. We have had a top to bottom green trail on the cards for some time now and it’s great to finally see it come to life. The feedback we’ve had already has been amazing and we cannot wait to see even more new riders and little rippers enjoying it.
If you are new to the sport or want to introduce someone that is, we have some great new beginner packages that can help make that happen. Take a look at our website for more information.
Next up on the refresh list is Insufficient Funds. This one has always been a crowd favourite, but it’s on an entirely different level now. The Trail Crew have created an absolute masterpiece making it a must on any riders hit list.
Last up but by no means least is Willy Waver, part 2. Truth be told we started working on the lower section of Willy Waver some time back, but the Trail Crew got totally sideswiped by back to back bad weather followed by lockdown.
Thankfully the weather has cleared up and the team have been back in to make the finishing touches. If you like flow, this is the only way to go, link in the top section too and you’ll be in berm heaven.
If you are planning a trip to the park soon please take note as we have had to make some changes to ensure our customers and staff stay safe when at the park:
- All passes must be booked in advance via our website.
- Our pay as you go uplift system has been suspended until further notice
- Face coverings are mandatory when on the bus.
- You must update your acceptance of risk from before you visit.
From all the team here at the park, stay safe, stay stoked and see you at the park soon.
