Arguably the jewel in the Tweed Valley crown, Innerleithen’s Golfy Trails on Caberstson Hill, will see some trails off limits due to felling work.
Innerleithen’s Golfy Trails on Caberston Hill will see restrictions in place as planned tree felling by the Forestry will be taking place over the next three months.
It’s certainly not ideal timing from a riding perspective but the Tweed Valley Trails Association have been working with the Forestry and contractors to hopefully see the trails saved and back to business once the felling is complete.
Signage is in place at the top and bottom of the hill, so there’s no excuse to put a bad taste in the Forestry’s mouths by riding trails you know you shouldn’t.
