2021 Nukeproof Reactor | Everything You Need to Know.

Nukeproof run with the ‘if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it’ theme with their 2021 Reactor frame, while the specs get run over with a fine-tooth comb.

Nukeproof’s do-it-all machine, the Reactor, returns for 2021 with colours and specs updated, but the beating heart left alone after stellar reviews for the 2020 models.

The 2021 Nukeproof Reactor range is six-bikes strong, with the all-singing, all-dancing RS at the top of the pile sporting slightly more travel out front, the slightly racier ST Factory going in the other direction travel wise and the Comp kicking things off.

On the Comp and Pro, you get an alloy frame, with the Elite, Factory, Factory ST and RS all coming with a full carbon frame.

Specs-wise, there’s no lack of quality parts throughout the range, with even the comp having branded kit throughout, with that only improving the higher up the range you go. There’s no skimping on the rubber either to get the curb weight down, these bikes are ready to go out of the box.

Geometry

As with the previous Nukeproof Reactor offerings, all bikes, bar the Reactor Factory ST, are available in 27.5 and 29″ versions. The RS, coming with 10mm more fork travel than the remainder of the range, will have slightly different head angle, BB height and wheelbase as a result.

On the medium Nukeproof Reactor 275 Pro, you’re looking at a 454mm reach with a 420mm seat tube, with a 66 degree (Rail 65.5) head angle and a 75.5 degree (Rail 75) seat tube angle. On the same bike but in the 290 guise, a 451mm reach, with the same 420mm seat tube, with the same angles.
