The Pole Stamina Has Been Back in the Studio for a Remaster.

Pole come out swinging with the new Stamina but also a new approach based on lessons learned over the last few years.

Far from just a launch of their updated long travel super enduro machine, the Stamina, Pole have learned some lessons the hard way and upped their game when it comes to production, quality control, customer service, the full works.

But… Wait… What’s that shiny thing?

Pole’s main man Leo Kokkonen brings you up to speed on the Stamina remaster in the video below.

Having shelved their carbon frame project, Pole Bicycles have gone back to basics and rebuild the brand from the ground up, with the new Stamina frame being the spearhead. Aluminium alloy in CNC’d form is now the only kind of Pole available, chosen for its infinite recyclability.

Rear swing arms have been redesigned to improve strength after a fairly high profile failure in the not too distant past. To rebuild trust in the brand, Pole now have dedicated marketing, warranty and customer service humans in place to restart that process. The Stamina frame has been awarded the EFBE TRI-TEST® Gravity Cat-5 Certified seal, tests that go beyond the usual certifications for sale.

Changes to the frame itself include increasing frame wall thickness and bonding surface for each frame half, creating keyed headset inserts, and adding reinforcement walls to the top tube to prevent bike stand clamp crush damage.

Electrophoretic Lacquering also allows the shiny gold finish without the chemicals involved in the usual anodising process. The process is similar in that you’re inducing a current into a bath that colours the metal. There will be limited colour runs going forward. Anyone choosing the Gold or Storm Grey before the end of April will not have to pay more for it.

The Stamina will be available in the usual 140, 160 and 180mm setups, depending on what you’re looking for, with both framesets and complete builds available.
