Orange Launch the Switch 6 in Full Team Spec.

Any fans of Orange Bike’s mixed wheel enduro machine, the Switch 6, can now get theirs in the same spec as the factory race team.

Believe it or not, the Orange Bikes Switch 6 Team is their Mullet-wheeled 145mm machine dripping with the kit that you’ll see Lachlan Blair, Joe Connell and Tom Wilson slinging about the Enduro World Series.

Key features:

  • Formula Selva S 160mm fork
  • Formula MOD Coil shock
  • Shimano XT 12-speed drive
  • Formula Cura 4-piston brakes
  • E13 LG1 wheels
  • SDG Tellis dropper
  • £5,200.00 RRP

Unsurprisingly, the Switch 6 Team is based around Orange Bikes’ Switch 6 platform, made from monocoque 6061-T6 alloy in their usual fashion. The Switch 6 is aimed at racers who don’t want the full 29er package, so the Switch 6 is part of the Halifax-based brand’s MX/Mullet range.

You get 145mm travel out back, operated by the usual single pivot affair, with a 160mm fork out the front, giving a 64 degree head angle and a 76 degree seat tube angle. Reach on the size large is a roomy 485mm.

What’s new about this Switch 6 is the spec, and mirrors that used by the Orange Factory Race Team. Price-wise, it sits between the Switch 6 Pro and the Switch 6 RS at £5,200.

Formula feature heavily, with a Selva S fork and a MOD shock providing the damping duties, with their 4-piston Cura brakes reining the beast in. E13’s LG1 wheels are shod with Michelin Wild Enduro rubber, SDG handle the lounge area, with smatterings of Burgtec kit out front.

The frame comes wrapped in team edition decals as well.
