The Airmatic from 100% is a technical riding jersey that looks and feels more like a normal t-shirt. Not everybody wants to be wearing bright, polyester, race style jerseys and with the Airmatic you get a similar level of performance to those jerseys, but look a lot more normal if you stop for petrol on the way to the trails.

The fit is a bit snug compared to other medium sized jerseys I ride in, so if you are in between sizes, I would size up one. Having said that, it was still a comfy jersey and certainly not overly tight. The material, described as, ‘technical heather’ on the website feels more like a soft cotton than a tech jersey, but it still does a decent job of wicking sweat on a hot ride. It does not dry as fast as a lighter, thinner jersey, and the snug fit makes it feel quite warm, but I still liked wearing the Airmatic for cooler summer rides and mild autumn adventures.

What do we think?

It looks like a nice T-shirt (which is a good thing) but actually does much more. The 100% Airmatic is a great option for trail rides, bike park laps and general mucking about on bikes. It just does the basic well and looks good doing it. Not a bad price either.

We Love:

  • Low key, non-racy style.

Could Do Better:

  • Pretty snug fit. You may want to size up.
