In a similar vein to their Switch 6 Team offering, Orange Bikes’ Phase MX Team puts their race kit on the Phase MX enduro ebike.
165mm travel, a 630Wh battery and a raft of team components is designed to give Orange Bikes’ Phase MX Team some serious all-day riding credentials.
Key features:
- Formula Selva S 170mm fork
- Formula MOD Coil Shock
- Shimano XT 12-speed drive
- Shimano EP8 motor
- Shimano 630Wh battery
- Formula Cura 4 brakes
- E13 LG1 EN Plus E-spec wheels
- SDG Tellis dropper
- £7,300.00 RRP
- OrangeBikes.com

At £7,300.00 retail price, the Orange Phase MX Team is just a spec change in difference to the Phase MX Pro, which otherwise forms the lower end of the Phase MX range. Fox 38 and DPX2 shocks are swapped out for the team Formula Selva and MOD dampers. SRAM Guide REs also swap for their Formula equivalents.
Drive train jumps from Shimano SLX on the Pro to XT on the Team build, with wheels going from Orange’s own rims and Hope hubs to E13 LG1 numbers. Michelin tyres replace the Maxxis rubber on the Pro.
Probably more crucial for ebike fans on the Phase MX Team is the increase in battery size from a 504Wh on the Phase MX Pro to a 630Wh battery on the Phase MX Team. Orange claim that with the EP8 motor, this gives a 25% range increase, which is a sizeable jump.
Geometry remains mostly unchanged, with sizes from Medium up to XLarge on offer. There’s a few millimetres reach difference between the Pro and the Team Phase MX, but on the Medium, you get a Reach of 483mm on a 431.8mm seat tube. Head angle is 64 degrees with a 76 degree seat tube angle. Chainstays are 439mm on a wheelbase of 1255mm.
