A dry and dusty Maydena Bike Park on the island of Tasmania hosted the 2022 Australian National Downhill Championships.
Ellie Smith and Connor Fearon are your 2022 Elite Australian National Downhill Champions having mastered the bull dust of Maydena Bike Park and seen off some strong competition.
Defending Elite champion Troy Brosnan would DNF, we hope it’s nothing serious. Sian A’Hern, your 2021 champion would miss out on defending her title by a whisker, losing out to Ellie Smith by 0.43.
Remy Meier-Smith took the Junior Men’s title, with a time that would put him fourth in Elite Men. Look out for this one. Elise Empey would sew up the Junior Women’s title with a time that would put her 7th in Elite Women.
