Aimed at offering an entry point to mountain biking with their all-new Onna range of hardtails, named after Orbea’s first revolver.
Onna both means ‘good’ in Basque and harks back to Orbea’s entry into the production of revolvers back in the 19th Century. The Onna is aimed at the entry-level rider looking for a solid XC platform.
Orbea have designed the Onna to offer a predictable riding experience for those new to mountain biking. The geometry is more relaxed than their Alma XC race bike but comes equipped with air forks and 1X drivetrains on the top two models and disc brakes throughout.
The hydroformed frame also comes with a tapered head tube for more fork options and increased stiffness. Internal cable outing is offered throughout the range, with the Onna also offering stealth dropper routing as well. The frame also comes with rack and kickstand mounts.
With a range of sizes from XSmall to XLarge, there’s a bike to fit everyone. With the XSmall coming in 27.5″, the small having the option of 27.5″ or 29″, with Medium up to XLarge coming in 29″ only.
The Onna also adds value by coming with a lifetime warranty, which, when activated makes you eligible for a free bike tune and a one-year subscription to Wikiloc. Geometry
The Medium Onna, comes with a 418mm reach and a 430mm seat tube. Chainstays are 440mm on everything 29″ and 430mm otherwise. Head angle is 68.5 degrees with a seat tube angle of 74.5.
