YT Industries Capra Core 2 brings the same suspension and geometry of its carbon brethren but at a cheaper price point.
While it may well be the start of the YT Capra range price-wise, the Capra Core 2’s frame and spec mean you can still go hard.

At over £600 cheaper than the Capra Uncaged 9, the new YT Capra Core 2 aims to offer the same Capra performance with some solid spec choices at a more wallet-friendly price tag. Geometry and suspension remain the same as its more expensive brethren, but with a hydroformed alloy frame in place of the high modulus carbon fibre framed bikes.
You still have the same 29″ and MX-wheeled options, with the MX riding more like the outgoing Capra and better suited for bike parks with its more playful ride and progressive suspension, while the 29er is an enduro race or big mountain whip.
The YT Capra Core 2 comes in at £3,199.00 and gets you the aforementioned hydroformed alloy frame, Fox Performance dampers, SRAM NX Eagle drive and Code R brakes, with Crankbrothers Synthesis Enduro Alloy wheels and YT’s own dropper post.
