Holy moly, 2023 looks to be a real pinger with at least three events hosting triple headers of Cross Country, Downhill and EWS.
The first solid news coming out of the Discovery takeover of the World Cup coverage is that for the first time ever, there will be venues hosting short track, cross country and downhill World Cups, and Enduro World Series races over the same weekend.
As it stands, there are eight downhill World Cups, nine XCO/XCC World Cups and eight Enduro World Series events. Leogang will be the first to host all of these events between 15th and 18th June 2023.
Venues for the two French rounds in September, which has one double header of downhill and enduro, and the second a triple header, are to be confirmed, with the date for Whistler EWS also TBC.
Nevis Range is due to host the World Championships as part of the 2023 UCI Cycling World Championships, the date of which has yet to be confirmed.
