Atherton Bikes Launch the AM.130 and AM.130X.

Atherton Bikes have added another string to their bow by launching a trail bike in the form of the AM.130 and AM.130X.

Off the back of the success of their AM.200 and AM.150 bikes, Atherton Bikes have launched the trail-focused AM.130 and AM.130X. Featuring their Additive Manufactured frame, paired to a DW6 link, the frame runs on 130mm rear travel and 29″ wheels.

Atherton Bikes add two new frame offerings to their line up with the launch of the AM.130 and AM.130X frames. Both sport 130mm of DW6 link travel and 29″ wheels, while the former is designed around a 140mm fork, and the latter a 150mm fork.

The Additive Manufactured frames have been designed with the same treatment in mind and as a result pass the EFBE Cat 4 (Enduro) and Cat 5 tests (Downhill). As a result, the frames come with a lifetime first-owner warranty.

Frames start at £4,200 with a Rockshox Super Deluxe Ultimate air shock, with Builds 2, 1 and X increasing in price and spec quality. Size wise, 22 sizes are available with size specific seat tube angles on all frames.

Geometry

Sizing is available in Reach figures with either Low or Regular seat tube options. Reach starts at 410mm and increases in 10mm increments to 530mm, seat tubes start at 380mm and rise to 475mm.

Reach on the 460 Low is, unsurprisingly 460mm, combined with a 380mm seat tube length. Head tube angle is 65.5 degrees with an effective seat tube angle of 71.5 degrees. Chainstays are 433mm on a wheel base of 1211mm.
