It’s been a busy old year for the Trash Free Trails team and they’ve released details of their 2022 State of Our Trails report.
As of March 2022, Trash Free Trails has gathered 1,027 individual data sets from recreational trail locations across the world, with 51,871 items of litter recorded. Trash Free Trails now know that at least 50,000 pieces of single-use pollution are no longer in the wild, thanks to the efforts of their volunteers.
