Elite Men
Your current UCI Downhill World Champion is now also your current French National Champion. He didn’t have it all his own way though, seeing off the attentions of Daprela, Coulanges, Vergier and Levesque, who made up the rest of the top 5.
Elite Women
With Myriam Nicole not yet returning to racing, a new French Elite Women’s downhill champion would be crowned this year, and it was Marine Cabirou who will wear the sleeve for the next twelve months. Junior winner in Leogang, Lisa Bouladou wouldn’t give her an easy time of it though, finishing just two seconds back. These two were streets ahead of the rest of the field.
