After releasing their top tier Union flat and clip shoes earlier in the year, Fox Racing have now added a canvas flat to their line up.
Added to the Fox Racing Union BOA, clip and flat pedal offerings is a new Union Canvas flat for those looking for something a little more casual but without the performance deficit.

On the face of it, the Fox Union Canvas Flats are an upper material away from being the standard Union Flats. This is no bad thing. Like the Union Clips, the flats went down a treat in our latest review. Added to that, Nina Hoffman just won a World Cup using the Fox shoes.
The Union Canvas share the same Ultratac outsole with the hex lugs, EVA midsole, moulded and reinforced toe cap. They come in slightly heavier and cheaper than their bigger flat pedal brethren but the weight penalty isn’t massive and the price now makes them very attractive indeed.
Beyond that, there’s not really much to say. They’ll likely be just as good as all the other Fox Racing Union shoes we’ve tested to date, just with a slightly different upper.
