Travel front and rear, as well as wheel size, stays the same for the third iteration of the YT Jeffsy, but there’s plenty of other changes.
The new YT Industries Jeffsy sports the same travel and wheelsize whilst everything else has seen a refresh.
Size specific seat tube angles maintain a 77.2 degree seat tube angle at saddle height across all sizes. Reach grows by 5mm across the sizes, head tube angle drops a full degree to 65 degrees. Wheelbase grows slightly too. Seat tubes have been clipped slightly, depending on size.
Anti-squat has been set at 105% at 30% sag, tailing off sharply to prevent pedal kickback. This is also aimed at improving acceleration on the flat and uphill sections. End stroke progression has also increased.
Also new for the third generation Jeffsy is downtube storage. They’ve separated the bottle holder and storage lid to keep things rattle free however.
Five models are available, two alloy and three carbon fibre. The range starts at the Jeffsy Core 1 £2,499.00, rising to the Jeffsy Core 5 at £5,999.00.
Geometry
The YT Industries Jeffsy is available in S, M, L, XL and XXL sizes. A two-position flip chip alters the head and seat tube angles.
Reach on the M is 455mm with a seat tube of 410mm. Head angle in ‘Low’ is 65 degrees with a seat tube angle at saddle height is 77.2 degrees. Chainstays are 437mm on the M with a wheelbase of 1214mm.
