Series Overview
The Valleys Enduro Series 2024 unfolds across six exhilarating rounds, each offering a unique riding experience.
Round 1 at Glyncorrwg sets the pace with a challenging mix of high-speed sections, rock gardens, and alpine-style switchbacks, spread across a 3-stage MTB and 4-stage eMTB course, reminiscent of North Wales and the Lakes.
Round 2 revisits the legendary Abercarn in the golden valley, a local favourite with a labyrinth of trails, reinvigorated to offer a challenge for everyone.
The series then moves to Round 3 at the renowned Risca Bike Park, where riders will navigate steep sections and experience the classic Welsh flow on both the MTB and eMTB courses.
Round 4 introduces a fresh venue near Tredegar and Pontypool, Manmoel, featuring a hillside perfect for enduro, with courses around 10km/12km and elevations of 600m/800m in the flexible MashUp format.
The Championship Round takes place in the stunning Cwm Gwyddon, presenting never-before-raced tracks on an enduro-suited hillside, with a similar format and course layout as Round 4.
The series concludes with Round 5 at Walters Arena, a challenging and testing course shaped by locals on private land in the western Valleys, promising an epic end to the series.
Each round of the 2024 Valleys Enduro Series is carefully crafted to test skill and endurance, offering a diverse and exciting mountain biking adventure.
Scoring System.
For 2024 we have introduced a strategic twist. The series comprises six races, with riders’ best five results contributing to their overall standings, allowing their worst result to be dropped without impacting their score. The Championship round is particularly crucial as it offers double points. In case of ties, the final race result is used as a tiebreaker, ensuring a competitive edge to the series.
