Sitting neatly between their downhill fork, the Nero, and their all-mountain fork, the Selva, is the new Formula Belva, dual crown enduro fork.

The new Formula Belva aims to offer the 170mm to 180mm travel fork enthusiast a little more stiffness were it counts with a dual crown up top. Its little brother the Selva comes in the same travel offerings but if you’re after something a bit burlier without going up to the Nero downhill fork, then these are a good halfway step.
Double butted 35mm stanchions and a Selva lower, with Formula’s single air spring and closed circuit damping are the headline figures. The air spring is Neopos compatible, essentially Formula’s take on air volume spacers. These spacers are compressible though, so offer a different tune to regular plastic spacers. You get 18 clicks of rebound and 12 on compression, plus the CTS system that allows you to tune your compression to suit.
Weight is comparable to a 38mm stanchion fork like a Zeb, RXF 38 or Fox 38 but with the added stiffness that comes with a dual crown fork and the bonus of a direct mount stem.
Like all post-2017 Formula products, the Belva will be supported by Formula’s 10 Year Support Promise, and they also come with a two year transferrable warranty.
