Rockshox Launch Updated Flight Attendant and New Race Day Damper.

Proven under the capable direction of the likes of Nino Schurter and Luca Schwarzbauer, the new Rockshox Flight Attendant has arrived.

Rockshox’s Flight Attendant gets the Advanced Ride Dynamics update whilst the SID SL Ultimate and Ultimate fork get a Race Day 2 version of the Charger damper.

Rockshox have released an updated version of their Flight Attendant system that sees a major algorithm update under the moniker Advanced Ride Dynamics. The bones of this is the Flight Attendant system gathering more data and tailoring your ride better based on how you ride.

Testing revealed that the new Flight Attendant conferred a 1.8% speed advantage, which, over a 90-minute cross country race is a 96 second advantage over the manual system. Three positions are available. Lock, Pedal and Open with these three complimented by Bias Adjust and Effort Zones.

Bias Adjust informs Flight Attendant on the best positions for your dampers when run in Auto mode, and is able to put fork and shock in separate positions to suit the terrain and riding style. Effort Zones are tiered as well into Sprint, High, Medium and Low with the system defaulting to positions to better suit these zones. This is all based on the data the system has collected and will aim to suit your riding.

Both the SID SL Ultimate and SID Ultimate get an updated Race Day 2 Charger damper which has had every ounce shaved off it as well as coming with the new Flight Attendant algorithm. These dampers will retrofit into 2024 SID forks with the appropriate fork-specific control module.
