Formula paid Josh Bryceland a visit at home to help get his Selva fork running just the way he likes it. The end result? A limited edition Selva fork that’ll be part of a run of just 100 available in 29″ and 170mm only.
Josh was on the hunt for that buttery feel off the top combined with some serious end of travel ramp, something that the current CTS offering and air spring couldn’t quite offer. A new low progression air spring was combined with a custom CTS tune and the triple coil negative spring to achieve this.
A more linear air spring allow a lower air pressure for more initial sensitivity, whilst the Neopos can be used for mid stroke support. The custom CTS, with its extreme ramp up under high-speed compression, provides end-stroke control.
Josh is 78kg and his initial fork settings were 75 psi, a green CTS valve and three Neopos to give a firm feel, normal for someone who rides as hard and fast as he does. After testing he settled on 70 psi, his custom CTS valve and one Neopos in the low progression air assembly.
