After returning to winning form in impressive style in Val di Sole, Amaury Pierron does it again on a Les Gets track doing its best ice rink impression.
As rider after rider struggled to even stay on their bike as the forecast storm rolled into Les Gets yesterday, one man disregarded the conditions in a manner to Sam Hill and Danny Hart in Champery or Aaron Gwin in Mont Saint Anne to storm to the win on home turf.
Amaury Pierron backed up his seamless attacking win in Val di Sole to master the conditions in a rain-soaked Les Gets to win by just shy of six and a half seconds. Unreal. Can anyone stop him at World Champs in Andorra?
