Mark your calendars. The UK’s largest and premier Enduro and Mountain Bike festival, Ard Rock 2025, is opening entries on Sunday, December 1st at 7 PM. Don’t miss your chance to secure a spot at the year’s most anticipated mountain biking event.

A Festival Like No Other

The riding and racing challenges are at the core of the event, with trails on epic terrain designed to challenge all levels of riders. Set against the stunning backdrop of Swaledale, Yorkshire, Ard Rock is more than just a race though – it’s a celebration of all things mountain biking. Riders and spectators alike can immerse themselves in an action-packed weekend filled with:

  • World-Class Racing: Tackle big mountain terrain with six different event categories for different skill levels.
  • Live Music & Entertainment: Live bands and DJs, keeping the festival vibes high from dawn till dusk.
  • Expo Village: Explore the latest gear and tech from top mountain biking brands, with opportunities for demos and exclusive deals.
  • Workshops & Clinics: Meet the pros with sessions on bike maintenance, trail skills, and more.
  • Family-Friendly Activities: Fun for all ages with the Hope Academy kid zones, coaching sessions and bike brand group rides.
  • Quality Food & Drink: Refuel with delicious food vendors, including the excellent Dales Bike Centre cafe, and craft beverage providers.

Choose Your Challenge

With six event categories, Ard Rock 2025 offers something for different levels of mountain bikers:

  • Epic. A mountain bike challenge event on the Ard Rock Enduro course, taking in all the timed downhill stages. You’ll get a time for the stages and the full lap.
  • Intro Enduro. The Intro is a 30 km loop with four timed Ard Rock stages that get progressively more technical.
  • Sport Enduro. The same course and timed stages as the Ard Rock Enduro, for riders who care more about completing the challenge and the adventure rather than every tenth of a second.
  • eMTB Enduro. The Bosch Ebike Enduro. 45 km Loop with seven timed stages covering the full enduro loop.
  • Sprint Enduro. 30km with around 2000 metres of combined climbing and descending. The sprint takes in 3 of the most technical Ard Rock special stages, and is open to juniors over 14.
  • Enduro. 45 km loop with seven timed stages. This event is for the more experienced riders competing for top positions.
