YT Industries have launched an updated their Capra Core range to include to entry level alloy and one high spec alloy model adding to the carbon fibre stalwarts.
Otherwise unchanged from the full 29 or MX wheeled 170mm enduro platform, the Capra Core gets a new range rollout, with prices starting at £2,499.00.
Six new YT Capra Core models are available. The entry-level Core 1 kicking things off with an alloy frame at £2,499.00, and the Core 4 topping the range at a not otherworldy £5,999.00. All bikes are available as stock in either full 29″ or MX, with the flip chip allowing you to change your mind further down the road.
A V4L link provides the rear wheel travel as ever and is part of the UCI Enduro World Cup-winning platform. Handlebar rise has been made size specific with 30mm on S-M and 40mm on L-XL sizes. All bikes come with a 220/200 rotor combo, Continental Kryptotals with the front being a Supersoft and YT’s V2 Postman dropper which goes up 230mm in drop. Bike weights come in between 35 and 37lbs.
Geometry
The Capra Core is available in Small, Medium, Large, XLarge and XXLarge.
Reach on the Medium is 444mm with a seat tube of 420mm. Head angle with the flip chip in Low is 64 degrees with a seat tube of 77.5 degrees. Chainstays on the Medium are 433mm with a wheelbase of 1223mm.
