One of the only things visible through the clart on Jackson Goldstone’s Santa Cruz V10 was a large silver caliper that had no markings of any kind…
We know from the course preview at Les Gets that Jackson Goldstone was running XTR levers on his race bike. It’s not uncommon for riders to run an XTR lever with a Saint caliper on longer travel bikes.
This particular caliper is no ordinary unit though. Far larger than even the current Saint calipers, this has a whiff of the SRAM Maven about it, but with half as many bolts holding it together. This is also double the current Shimano M820 Saint caliper bolt count. It looks to be running on a standard Centrelock Shimano IceTech rotor too.
