The 2026 Tour
Until 2024 (final year of Stone King® Rally), each given Club Week year followed the Stone King® Rally race route from earlier that Summer. In 2025, we put together an all-time classic Stone King route, blending the best-of-the-best trails from the 2022, 2023 and 2024 race events. This classic route has proved extremely popular so we will be sticking with a very similar formula for 2026. There will, however, be some route tweaks to further improve the selection of trails and the flow of days, and we (in collaboration with local teams) will be putting in more trail work than ever next Spring to make sure that the terrain is in best possible shape for the 2026 season.
Route Details
- Start: Arvieux [Hautes-Alpes, France]
- Finish: Bordighera [Liguria, Italy]

Why Book With Us?
From the outside looking in, Stone King started life as a race event but the overarching mission was to create the ultimate point-to-point MTB route across the Southwestern Alps, period. So, somewhat regardless of the race, simply riding endless awesome trails has always been (and will always be!) the focus of the route. Now that we no longer organise a race, our energy is concentrated on providing the ultimate tour on these trails. Some further detail on what this entails:
Knowledge: we are the originators of Stone King®. We invented and painstakingly developed the route, and our staff have years of experience in running this tour. Not only do we have unmatched geographical knowledge of our route and the roads which access it, but we also know many alternative trails in each valley. This gives us the ability to replan on our feet and make adjustments to a day’s itinerary should circumstances demand it (e.g. making the most of a rainy afternoon by using a lower, more sheltered route).
Format: four years of running the Club Week tour has proven our app-supported self-guided format to be an absolute winner amongst riders. Ride at your own pace and/or with your friends, in flexible ride groups of your own choosing. Immerse yourself in the autonomous nature of adventure but with back-up never far away.
Support: we pride ourselves on providing you with the best on-tour support imaginable. Navigational issues, bike repairs, emergency caffeine… a staff member is always available to help.
No skimping: this is a no-expenses-spared tour because keeping you comfortable and well-fed is an utmost priority to us. Admittedly the tour is not inexpensive, but past riders tell us it is worth every penny and more.

How Do I Sign Up?
There will be an official Club Week entry process later this month!
A few days before entries go live, we will send a reminder via email and on social media.
Sign-up will be from 09:00 CET on Sunday 23/11/2025, open for 60 hours.
Sign-up will be via an online registration form. You will be asked to provide personal details, some details on your MTB experience, and to give an order of preference out of the three possible tour dates. If you are already subscribed to our mailing list (i.e. you have received this newsletter by email) then you will automatically receive the Club Week sign-up link on 23/11/2025.
I will personally be present on each of the Club Weeks to oversee the running of the tour and hopefully ride some trails with friends old and new.
Please get in touch if you have any questions at all regarding the tour.
