The Comeback King himself, Dak Norton, won’t be swinging his leg over a Mondraker at next year’s races, with no news on where he’s headed.
Just before Christmas last year, Dak Norton fractured his hip socket and was sidelined for a big chunk of the year. He’d be back for the Leogang round of the World Cup where he’d slowly chip away at getting back to his ferocious pace.
He’d narrowly miss out on taking the Stars and Stripes sleeve, he’d take the big bag of cash at the US Open and just miss the podium at Mont Saint Anne by a fraction of a second. Serious props.
The quiet American is departing the shores of Mondraker Factory Racing with no word on where he’s headed. We’d guess maybe a Frameworks ride, or maybe even Gwin Racing. A Frameworks team with Dak, Asa and Anna would be a force to be reckoned with.
