There Will Be No Welsh Enduro Series in 2026.

Bud, the man behind the Welsh Enduro Series, has announced that he’s hanging up his boots after two years of “one more year”.

With the Welsh Enduro Series wrapping up this year, the domestic enduro scene in the UK is not looking particularly healthy. 2026 will see a distinct lack of enduro racing now that Welsh Enduro will join Tweedlove and PMBA in going the way of the Dodo.

To all who have contributed to such an amazing series over the years, I personally want to give you my heartfelt thanks for the support.

Our amazing competitors, from World Cup downhillers and enduro stars, to weekend warriors, guys and girls who wanted to challenge themselves on some of Wales’ best venues and trails…..we salute you all.

Huge thanks to all our Sponsors over the years, and especially our current Title Sponsors Saracen Bikes who have been fantastic over the past 3 years with their support of the series.

Big up our marshals – you know who you are (legends), sign on team, diggers, landowners, medics, caterers, timing team, and especially Dave ‘The Bandit’ Bannister who has been an unsung hero in all of this over the past years – Thank you!

Saracen Bike Sale Leader April 25

You might have figured out by now that this is our last year and the WES will be no more from 2026. I have been meaning to do this for the past 2 years but held on for ‘one more year’ but now is the time to go out at the top! There are a few reasons for this but I’m not going to bore you all with a long-winded post, so I’ll probably see you all on the trails at some point and chat about how good a gig the Welsh series actually was!

Have a great Christmas period with your loved ones and catch up soon.

Much love,

Bud.”
