The track was running in typical Fort Bill style all weekend – which is big, rough and loose with massive holes and rocks all the way down. The brand new sections threw in some even gnarlier rock sections to mix things up… If you haven’t seen it, here’s Milkpro and Rich Thomas’ track walk of the new bits:
The track claimed a few victims this weekend… Here’s Stanny licking his wounds after a crash coming into the woods. One dislocated shoulder for the Prince.
Kovarik on the podium – how World Cup does this look?
It was a good weekend for the legend that is Nigel Page – he was back in the saddle, seeded fastest masters and then won the cat. He also had heaps of his CRC riders on the podiums. Happy chap.
I couldn’t sign this off without giving Jacob Gibbins, Paul Roberts and Tim Smith a shout for working their nuts off on the hill all weekend. Milki’s photos will be in the mag… and Paul and Tim will have a fresh web-edit for you this week, including the SECOND competition to win a Diamondback Sabbath DH frame or a holiday to Morzine with Riders Retreat!
That’s all for now – we’re sat in the Grog and Gruel in the Fort and I’m ready for a beer. Stay tuned this week for LOTS more BDS content….
