Mountain biking’s chief #lad Ben Deakin was down at the Forest of Dean last weekend for the MiniDH.
We grabbed Benย for a quick chat about his new DMR bikes Sled – a brand new 160mm enduro bike from DMR. The bike was launched this year at Core bike show and is DMR’s second ever full sus, designed as a sequel to the DMR Bolt.
Ben runs an almost stock build on his Sled. Cockpit is taken care of by DMR with DMR Deathgrips, DMR Alloy wingbar and Sect stem. Pedals are Brendog signature DMR Volts. Wheels come from Stans NoTubes and are their new Mk3 flow wheel set – a really solid, wide, all-rounder designed for downhill and enduro.
Ben runs his bars at stock 780mm, tires at about 25psi and goes for DMR Deathgrips in “long and thin, just like my missus likes it!”.
With the Mini Downhill done, Ben is now off to NZ for some fun. Good luck mate!
