The Sugar Route is an ancient trading route that was used to ferry sugar, amongst other things, from The Dead Sea to the cities of Jericho and Jerusalem.
Matt Jones heads into the baking hot, rocky desert to sample its delights, visit an ancient monastery carved into a cliff face …and leaves a tank shell well alone.
