One of London’s finest bike shops, Soho Bikes, is to close its doors after almost 4 years of amassing a loyal customer base and producing some excellent coffee.
Citing personal reasons for the closure, Nick Hawker, has announced that Soho Bikes will cease trading on the 26th, with the cafe and limited workshop facilities running until then.
Soho Bikes went against the grain, specialising in high end mountain bikes in central London, making it the place to go for any dirt merchants within the M25. On top of that, their coffee transcended the bike shop coffee snobbery and had become a well-known cafe in its own right.
On top of that, Soho Bikes courted the elite in the cycling World, with their Soho Bikes TV. Rob Warner supplied the usual banter, while the likes of Greg Minnaar, Steve Peat and Josh Bryceland.
