Rachel Atherton has taken a record 6th World Cup Championship by pipping Tahnee Seagrave to the post in La Bresse.
Her closest title rival, Tahnee Seagrave was back at the splits but in touch, before gaining time towards the bottom. It wasn’t to be enough though, and Rachel Atherton would take both the win on the day by 0.638 seconds and the overall title in the process.
