As the rain fell in La Bresse, France for the World Cup finals, it was Martin Maes that mastered the new track and the conditions to take the top spot.
Well, I think it’s fair to say nobody saw this one coming…
The Belgian powerhouse that is Martin Maes made it almost impossible for the rest of the pack with a killer ride, especially in the 3rd split in La Bresse. Maes’ run came when the rain was pouring hardest, but the GT Factory Racing rider made it count after a 12th in qualifying.
Maes shares the podium with former GT Factory Racing team mates Gee Atherton in second and Brook MacDonald in third.
