DMBinS ran an innovative pilot programme in the Borders which utilised six weeks of mountain biking as part of the therapy for people experiencing mental ill health.
Along with its partners at Scottish Borders Health and Social Care Partnerships, Galashiels Resource Centre and Edinburgh Napier University, Developing Mountain Biking in Scotland has overseen the introduction of mountain biking as part of mental ill health therapy.
After the success of the pilot, it is looking increasingly likely that this programme will be rolled out across Scotland.
