We kicked off our 9th season of #TeamWideopenmag this week.
For 2019, we’re going custom. Nukeproof have provided our frames, suspension, brakes and drive trains. The rest came from our awesome list of sponsors, of which a few are old friends and a few are fresh, new faces.
New to the party are Stan’s NoTubes, Goodyear tyres, XTools and Mobi. We’re also going to be running Nukeproof Clothing and 661 protection.
Familiar faces that are continuing their sponsorship are, of course, Nukeproof. They’re joined by Funn, Juice Lubes, Fibrax and Granite Designs.
The video shows Christo Gallagher’s custom Nukeproof Mega 290 being built by mechanic Dru, team manager Dave and filmed by Phil Golston. We borrowed the Starling Cycles workshop for the day and got stuck in to giving the bike the proper pro-bike build treatment it deserves.
